Just as long as I don't end up with one of those photo vests with all the pockets, the string that holds my glasses around my neck, and a bucket hat with sensible shoes, I'm good.
Oh my goodness. Michael, I LOVED my banana republic photo vest. I probably still have it somewhere. I'm praying for the day they come back in style. I only stopped wearing it due to peer pressure. Merry Christmas to you too!
So many good ideas here. I love Kanopy and was happy to find 'In No Great Hurry - 13 Lessons in Life with Saul Leiter' there which was a great watch. Can you recommend any other good photography documentaries on Kanopy?
Thank you! And yes, I can. I just watched Dorothea Lange: Grab a Hunk of Lightning which I liked very much, and Jay Myself which I loved. I also watched See Know Evil, which is about Davide Sorrenti, a kid in the 90s who became a brief star in fashion photography. (I will say the photography is somewhat incidental in his story, which is a sad one.) Next up on my list there is a Helmut Newton doc and a Harry Callahan doc, and I'll add the Saul Leiter one too.
Oh, also I recall they have Bill Cunningham New York, which I loved. And an older James Nachtwey doc called "War Photographer," which is a very interesting look at how he works.

Thanks Bill, will add those to our watch list.
Thank you so much for the shout-out!
